Special Library Programs:
Craft-er-noon
Tuesday, April 1, 12 - 4:30 pm RT Jones Library
Spring break with nothing to do? Children of all ages are invited to craft the
afternoon away! This is a drop-in program that requires a participating
adult to supervise the crafts. All materials will be provided.
First-come, first-served; while supplies last.
LEGO Club
Tuesday, April 1, @ 3:30 pm Pickens County Public Library
The LEGO Club has a different theme each month. Children can work alone or in teams to make their special creation, which will be displayed in the library until next month's meeting. All LEGOS are provided by the library and DUPLO blocks will be available for our youngest patrons. All ages are invited; 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Ball Ground Public Public Library April 7, 21
Hickory Flat Public Library April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

Rose Creek Public Library April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
RT Jones Library April 7, 21
Woodstock Public Library April 9, 16, 12, 30
These 10-15 minute programs encourage children 6 years of age and older to read by providing a non-judgmental, furry listener who won't laugh if you make mistakes or stumble over a word. Parents can register their child two weeks ahead for one session by calling the corresponding library. Children are asked to select their own reading material before their scheduled session. Call your local Cherokee and Pickens County Public Libraries to reserve your spot for one of our Reading Dog programs.
