In Spectacular Spectacles, Fancy Nancy learns how to accept her best friend’s need for glasses and also how to appropriately deal with her own jealousy over the new glamorous glasses. While not as frilly as other Fancy Nancy books, Spectacular Spectacles focuses more on understanding the differences between ourselves and others. It makes for an excellent parent to child discussion. Though typical Fancy Nancy readers will enjoy this one, it is best suited for lower level school-aged children.
